Green, Green, The Grass is Green on the Far Side of the Hill...

Yep, it was. All green, all of the time, and beautiful too. Ireland was truly lovely. A little rainy/windy ... the Cliffs of Moher were amazing. Drizzle and winds at 140 kms per hour are not for the faint of heart. Walking bent over at 90 degrees is not exactly conducive to a leisurely stroll but the view was nothing short of amazing. We prairie folk have no idea about what cliffs can look like.
We were very fortunate to enjoy the drive through the Dingle Peninsula on a sunny day. It was Drop. Dead. Gorgeous. While the beauty of the Dingle was truly amazing and well worth the single track roadway, I left a part of my heart (but not my pocketbook) at the Louis Mulcachy pottery gallery. Words cannot describe how beautiful this man's work is. It was a lovely spot to stop, peruse the pottery, and have a cup of tea and a cake. In the words of Matthew, "At least they have really nice dishes to eat on." Ireland ... love it!
